    These are a perfect addition for a vintage Lionel O27 train layout. I have my track on top of outdoor carpeting and the wood ties fit easily but firmly under the track. I bough two sets of these to fit a 40 x 52 inch layout with two loops and turnouts.

    I've cut these myself for previous layouts but saw these for sale and decided to try a couple of packages. Very glad I did! Started putting a few under the track to see how they looked, and like potato chips, couldn't stop with just a few! Haven't decided on painting/staining yet, but they are the perfect size and the western red cedar should take paint or stain beautifully. As is, they look great under my track (see pic). They arrived wrapped in plastic in perfect condition, will buy more.
