    good lens for the price

    I already use this lens on my D300 for general shooting, mostly wildflowers. I bought another to go with my D750 for the same reason. I get really sharp close ups on flowers with nice blurred backgrounds. For the price, a great deal.

    the 35-80mm D AF lens fills the requirements of a versatile lens. switching from 35 to 80 is a snap, auto focus is fast as well as smooth and clean. the macro feature works quite well for an older lens and it works quite well on my D100.
