As for appearance, there was quite a bit of scratches and only a few tiny dents around the corners, but that's to be expected with a pre-owned item (I covered mine in stickers anyways). As I’ve not had the iPod for over a month, I am noticing that it’s extremely difficult to get it to charge. I have tried three different cords, and four different outlets in my house. It doesn’t react to being plugged in. I’m going to have to order another cord to see if that’s the problem. See in the below photo that it is plugged in but not charging.

If these don't sync immediately to your MacBook just put a full charge on the iPod and try it then....it synced right up. That's what I found out after doing some research and having some stress. The seller was really understanding and responded very quickly even though eBay said he was on leave. Very well packaged and arrived earlier than expected. The iPod itself had a couple scratches, but for an “acceptable” condition, it looked really good. A great price for an iPod!
