      Small and mighty IR heater, plus its stylish.

      Compact lightweight but packs a heavyweight punch for a plugin in IR Heater aka the Amish heater etc. The Vornado design and fan really circulates it better than the more passive ones you find in store. So even at the same power on max this model warms a room way faster. If you want the ceramic style heater and such this is not for you. If you've done your homework and like IR heaters this one is a great value at $88 bucks, I have the IR 405 model from Vornado also. The difference is the control panel and color, the touch screen vs push buttons on this the 400. Honestly its not a big deal, the display auto times out on this model so power eco mode, lights back up when you press the temp up down or other buttons. If you like the touch feel control go with the IR 405. Having used all sorta ...

      Great heater!

      It’s been around 70 days since we bought it, working great so far! Wonderful design, thick plastic(not cheap one), different mods, bright screen, very compact and producing respectable amount of heat for the size. We are definitely pleased! Used every day in cold Montana winters.

      Did not last one night.

      I had high hopes. Maybe you will have better luck. It turned off the first night and would never work right again. Kept shutting down and freaking out. Maybe it got beat up in shipping. I did purchase another Vornado to replace it, just not the IR one.

      Vornado should be ashamed

      I have had many vornado products but after buying 2 of the heaters both quit working within a week of normal use! I am done with all vornado products!! They are going to get a bad name from this heater! I should have researched before buying everyone that has one has trouble!
