Factory Springfield Armory XDs 9mm 8 round mag
This mag fits and fires perfectly in my XDs 9mm pistols. The mag came with two sleeves and fits my pinky perfectly also. I now can carry 8+1 in the pistol instead of 7+1 with the same low profile carry as the 7+1 mag with a finger extension that did not add an additional round. Springfield Armory has another winner in this mid-length magazine! And, the solid full fingered grip allows more control while I comfortably fire +P's in this compact pistol.This mag fits and fires perfectly in my XDs 9mm pistols. Harsh spring
When I tried the clip the spring was so tight it caused jams by pushing rounds up thru the gun and ejecting them right on to the floor. I'm trying to weaken the spring by holding several rounds in the clip to see if the spring will weaken to the point where I trust it for every day usage. The clip is made of strong steel and seems good quality except for an over strong spring.

This is original XD-S magazine so there is no too much to say about it. Nice thing, however, is that beside 7 and 9 round mag, Springfield offers this 8 round as well, which really looks good on a pistol and feel awesome in the hand. As the original part, I did not notice any problems with it after 300+ rounds. It is actually great that adds an extra round, 1 more than 7 rnd mag, and feel more comfortable to carry than 9 rnd mag.This is original XD-S magazine so there is no too much to say about it.
