Great for me!!!
I felt better right away. I have torn cartilage, bone spurs, and arthritis in my knee and am tired of “resting it”. I need non impact exercises. I felt stronger after the first day of using the balance board. Then I noticed I can walk further before the pain started. I need to hold onto the back of a chair to use it but I really like using it. I went on YouTube to find exercises recommended by physical therapists and discussed it with my orthopedic doctor later. You need to use this on a carpeted surface with bare feet. I am a little overweight but am able to use this. The weight limit is 300 lbs. The surface of the board has sand or grit mixed in so your feet do not slip. I am starting to lose weight because I found a way to exercise and I have changed my diet too. This Balance board is a great way to maintain your balance, coordination and strength to help avoid falls. It will help strengthen your core muscles while your body is working to stay on the board. In the beginning it is best to have something nearby to touch or grab (counter top?) with your fingers in case you need it. (after all we don't want to fall off the balance board either, right?)
