It barely fit. I then ordered this 36/38 size. It fits perfectly. Since these do run a little small I suggest disregarding the high number (example 34/36 is actually 34. 36/38 is actually 36.). Seller shipped quickly and belt looks like it will last for a few years.

Nevertheless the edges are completely stitched (not just embossed). While this belt will never thabe the feel and pliability of real leather it is still a decently made light duty belt that is worth the price. The middle hole is a tight 36" size so a 38" waste may not fit.

I only mention it if you are looking at a similar belt with two sizes listed, as it may measure as the smaller of the two sizes. Otherwise, this is a great deal for a great belt.
