    Worked like a charm

    I used this today. I swaged some aluminum tubing and "sweated " the two pieces together. Worked just like sweating copper. Solder flowed easily when it got to temp. Cleaned up easy with no residue. Don't overheat it. I am sure the flux will become ineffective if you do.....just like copper flux.

    Failed to join substrates.

    Using a hot air gun at ~500F, and directing the heat on the substrate, I could melt the solder but it would not stick (wet) to the aluminum cans I was trying to join.
