Fast shipping and good communication. Item is as advertised. (Not the sellers fault, but shipping to Europe is quite expensive these days...)

Part 4 of a wonderful series.

Christopher Paolini wrote four books in the Inheritance Cycle, of which this is the last, in the spirit of the best of the fantasy/adventure genre. Eragon, the first, was a best seller when the author was 19 and he carried on into his 20s. These are not kids' books, any more than Lord of the Rings. His characters are wonderful, his vocabulary remarkable, the ambience is striking and they are hard to put down. Do start with the first book and plan to carry on to the end. These are remarkable reads for older teens on up. They are violent, but creatively so. I wish that the last book had not been so bloody, but I'm not sure how else it could have been handled. Definitely not for young readers, however!

  • Adventure, magic and dragons....let there be dragons!

This book completes the series and it does not disappoint! It's a dragon fantasy (or is it....fantasy that is) and at the end, the many years war is resolved in the most unexpected manner. And the ending finds us living in beautiful surrounds somewhere on planet earth. Christopher Paolini has created an enviable world for certain!

  • Near mint condition

It came near mint with original dust jacket and only one or two dog eared pages. I won't go into content as this is the fourth book in the series and I don't like to leave spoilers. It's the fourth book in the Eragon series in case anyone is wondering, the author refers to the collection as the " Inheritance Cycle ".

  • Fantasy re-done with a familiar yet unique story line, worth reading!

The book was a nice conclusion to the series I started almost 10 years ago. There were a lot of loose strings left un touched. If you are looking for a predictable ending to a series, and ultimately a "happy ending" it is for you. The book is at an early high school level, but appeals to junior high students through adults. One major criticism is the creativity of Paolini the author. If you have read Lord of the Rings, or any fantasy novel you have heard of almost everything in his books. He redefines some parts with different names, and magic is used very similarly with minor twists. Ultimately it is a great story retold in his manner, worth at least getting from the library and reading.

  • Thank you.

Lovely! I always love the quality of books I get from y'all. I now have the complete series, and for me that's a dream I've had since this book came out. With your prices, I'm able to buy a lot of the books I've only dreamt of getting.
