    Even though there's no clear bladesmith's logo I recognize it as the same knife made in China for several vendors, usually hardware stores. The quality is slightly improved over those. This one shows a different strategy in marketing. The area were the hardware store logo would go on a red plastic scale is replaced by a blank area that can be engraved in a red metal scale. I didn't have this one engraved because I'm not the bladesmith. I'm not going to lose it. And it looks good unscratched.
