Short macro focusing helicoid
For the right application, this focusing helicoid is great. It operates smoothly and gives the 12-19 mm range. It's the thinnest one I've ever seen. The only problem is related to its thinness. The part you rotate to change its length is quite narrow and a little bit hard to grip if you have large fingers. I don't think there is a better way for it to be designed, however.

Threads problems
The 49 mm thread is too tight, goes in in same accessories but only goes partially in others. Does not go in my original Pentax helicoid extension tube. I purchased 2 rings and both have this problem. The 39 mm thread is OK, but too loose and does not tight securely. Does not stay on the lens when you unscrew it. A must have for macro
On a tripod with bellows or tubes it acts as a fine focus but used handheld with or without tubes it acts more to change perspective (zoom) and focus by moving in and out. Enlarger lenses 75mm or longer work best for hand held macro.

15mm to 26mm focusing helicoid
I use this helicoid with a 42mm to 39mm adapter ring. I bought it to use as an adjustable spacer tube for some Zenit SLR lenses I have that use a 39mm thread but have a 45.2 mm flange focal distance instead of the standard Leica Thread Mount which has a flange focal distance of 28.8mm. With a 39mm to 42mm adapter ring. This helicoid gives me a really nice final adjustment which allows the Zenit lens to focus to infinity with a 42mm to FX adapter for my Fuji XE-1. It is very nicely made, smooth in operation, and just tight enough that it stays put where you turn it. A very good value for sure.I use this helicoid with a 42mm to 39mm adapter ring.
