I bought Braindead 13 because I got interested in "click and play" games, although it really isn't one. This one is more like a Direction and ACtion game i guess? Anyways, the animations are awesome; the're gory/funny. The only bad thing about this game is getting the hang of it the first few 100 times you die. But when you get used to it you'll start appreciating it more. I've never really played a game like this before so it has a novelty to it. (Broken Sword is the closest thing to it)
Purely trial and error gameplay; For nostalgia purposes and lovers of animation only. You have to guess every move for the main character. It is best to look up a cheat sheet to help you along to cut down on frustration and waste of valuable time. The animation is superb. It rivals it's Space Ace and Dragon's Lair counterparts. The highlight of the game are the creative deaths. To all others who are just looking for a good game, then this isn't for you.
The main character is a young computer expert (Lance), who is called to fix a computer at a scary castle one day, finds himself in trouble, being chased around the castle by Fritz, a psychotic servant of Dr. Nero Neurosis, the main villain of the story, with hooks for hands. The player must control him in order to escape. During gameplay exploration of the castle is freer than in most previous interactive games by showing crossroads. This leaves the route for finding the Brain Chamber up to the player.
