    Great Mic, great price

    I have used these for more than 10 years for film and video work. The mic has a very natural and open sound that greatly reduces BG noise. I compare these favorably to something like a Sennheiser MKE-2 (for 1/3 the price). This works great as a plant mic, especially in the headboard or visor of a car (but at no more than 12-14 inches away), with quite decent low-end response. I had these rewired to use with Sennheiser 3g/2000 wireless bodypack systems. I have to turn the sensitivity of the transmitter to -18 or below, but they work beautifully as body or plant mics for that.
