A quality scanner worth the price tag
This is a GREAT scanner overall - pretty easy to use although I'm still learning as it's got lots of editing features which I'm still playing around with. The colors are sometimes a bit off (too blue) but I think that I will be able to learn how to adjust this with practice. It's the best slide scanner I've tried so far and I'm really happy with the purchase.

Good scanner bad support
I like this Opticfilm 8200i scanner. Infrared feature is excellent for color slides, saves a lot of time on editing of scratched/dirty slides. However if you have a question, do not waste time writing E-mails to Plustek. I sent two E-mails to them at different times in 2016, one regarding this scanner and one regarding the older model I have. Both of my requests were ignored so I put 4 stars for zero support.
