      Jeep GC Roof Rack

      Good value, relatively easy to install. Instructions are poorly written and not very helpful. There is a front to each rail as well as a small difference in length between front & rear. It took about 20 - 30 minutes to install.

      Yep, no markings on which goes on front, and instructions are poor.

      The instructions leave out important parts: Loosen outboard screw until steel channel drops. Insert channel onto rail. Leave screws loose and adjust position on rails, then tighten. NO indication of which rail goes in front (the longer one - measure it I guess), even though the instructions say they are marked. Or which edge of the crossbar should face front. Some reviews are complaining about road noise. Does it matter which edge faces forward? For the life of me, I can't figure out what good the locks are. Decoration, I guess. Or maybe keep the end caps on (a screw would be cheaper). Still, it appears it will do the job. But the installation was maddening.

      Perfect fit and easy install. Long bar goes on front

      This roof rack fits perfect on my 2013 v8 grand Cherokee Limited. It was an easy install. I loosened the clasps as much as possible while completely removing the long bolt in the clasp. Lineup the longer FRONT RACK then put the long bolts back in each side. Make sure the rubber is still in place under the clasp while it is being mounted. Looks like OEM. Lightweight yet rated for 150 lbs. Check the mounts at about a month to insure still tight.

      Plan to get what you pay for.

      These crossbars are a good value for money, but they're not easy to install. The instructions are lacking in detail and it took several trial and error fittings to get them to work. I don't like all the wind noise they make when on the highway. Also, there's no instruction as to which way the cross bars should be installed. The edges are different and it doesn't tell you which edge goes to the front. Maybe I have them backward, but it's too much trouble to remove them and reinstall just to see if that cures the wind noise.
