Masters seems to be a bit stripped down compared to standard PGA tour. There is no money, you simply unlock items by gaining sponsorship levels. IMO, this took away from the feel of building a custom character. I miss features like "Target Golf" and other mini-games. As far as online content goes, PSN no longer seems to even have courses for you to purchase anymore, so there are alot of courses you won't be able to play on, since you cannot purchase them. Also, as of writing this (July 2017), there is absolutely no one online playing this game. All of that said, I purchased it for a multiplayer game to keep around the house. It suits that purpose. The gameplay is still fun, and making a long putt is still suspenseful. All in all, I think I paid $6 dollars to buy this game used, and it was worth it. If I come home from work a little wound up, I play my next event to unwind. I find it both entertaining and relaxing. A good way to clear one's head!Read full review

Great version of a classic. Game play continues to improve. Unfortunately they continue to punish those of us who play with friends. Unfortunately you can not unlock any proshop items while playing multiplayer games. All the stuff that makes the game super cool is lost if you do not play as a single player. We are waiting for the opportunity to play the rode to the masters and other tournament modes in multiplayer like we used to be able to in versions from several years back. I have played this game for over 10 years, I have owned almost every version since their first release pre tiger. I have always played it with friends, I never play it as a single player. It is a real disappointment when we can not play the game as intended just because EA won't take a few hours of programing so that the whole game can be enjoyed in multiplayer mode.Read full review
Good game with ease of use, yet takes time to build up the know how to truly become a great golfer. One of the better Woods games that have came out in a while. Beware your Caddy though he may not always give you the best options.Only things that I didn't really care for was the loadtime between holes, and different screens, this seems to be an ongoing issue for this game as I recall all of the games before having the same loading delay issue. But overall great game, I give it an 8 out of 10!!!
The game has changed the putting style from what I was used to with older Tiger Woods games. However, it is still very fun and a good buy. The largest complaint I have would be that the caddie's insists on talking and previewing at the start of each shot will sometimes get old. Although, it makes it super easy to let him decide how you will hit your shot (draw/fade/club/etc) However, the game is great fun and very much worth it.
Being a fan of golf, it only seemed logical that I purchased Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12-The Masters. I have played golf online for many years, and now when I play Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12-The Masters with the Playstation Move system, I can play at all the greatest golf courses ever created, without ever leaving my home. Couple this with the great online competition, this is by far the most played game in my collection. I recommend this game for any and all golfers, young and old. It has even helped me to shave 2 strokes off my live game as well..what a bonus..
