This is a small carburetor for a 6 - 6.75 hp engine. It fits my old Craftsman Shredder in place of the original part number 431451. My only complaint is that the mixture is not adjustable. It appears to have a small plastic cap over what I suspect is a needle valve. I haven't accessed it yet, but previously drilled off a metal cap on a different carburetor and it DID turn out to be covering a needle valve. The manufacturer knows what we want but has to circumvent our government.
