Does the job!
The I3 has an unusual shape of windshield - as deep as a minivan but only as wide as a compact car, so a general-purpose shade just doesn't work. Unfortunately, having a custom design for a limited production car means it doesn't come cheap! That being said, it appears solidly made and has a certain weight to it. The fit is good, but not so exact that there is no wiggle room to install and remove it, particularly around the rear view mirror. The car's own sun visors holds it in place. It’s a great product you can immediately tell the high quality the only downfall I would say the product has is how bulky it is when you need to store it you either have to put it in the trunk or the back seat. But other than that it’s great

Okay this is clearly a quality sunshade. It’s heavy and thick, not flimsy and cheap. It fits our new to us BMW i3 perfectly. It’s a much better fit than the expandable nylon screens that twist closed. This item is well worth the $30.00 we paid. I must highly recommend this sunshade. It fits flush from top to bottom and side to side. It is great! I’ve paid more for a insulated sunshade that eventually began to droop and sag from the HOT Texas summers. This sunshade is reinforced and much sturdier by design. Again, it fits the very odd shaped i3 windshield. I am very happy with the purchase.Okay this is clearly a quality sunshade.
