    Seat cover review

    This seat cover replacement is made with good quality. Installation was a bit more involved than I had anticipated but it wasn't difficult. Take your time and find the video online that explains how to do it. It will save you some headache. The only issue is I can't get the front part of the seat cover to latch onto the front rail, it keeps coming off. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong but it's most likely user error and not an issue with the cover itself. Makes the truck look so much better with the new seat cover. Very happy with the results.

    Good and bad

    Good value, only 3-stars becaue bought it with foam and I don't think it fit right. It was a bear to install over the new foam. Felt like I was going to rip seams trying to get it on. I think the velcro pulled out of the seat foam channel. Looks like some of the seams exposed due to stretch. Had to stand on the seat upside down to get cover on. The plastic channel to lock into seat frame was flimsyer than the original and I'm just hoping the seat lasts. Also one of the separate clipsat the safety belt hole fell right off and I had to sew it back on myself into the fabric section. Looked like they use adhisive to install that clip and didn't bond I guess. If it does hold then good, only time will tell. If I had to buy another I'd shop around again before taking chance on this ...

    Awesome product!!

    I just recovered the driver's seat and it looks very close to the original. The installation was a bit tough but certainly doable by a DIYer. It took me approximately 3hrs total. The toughest part for me were disconnecting and connecting the power seat plugs, but if I had to do it again it would be easy. Basically most of it is just a learning curve. I watch a YouTube video before I attempted the replacement which was very helpful. All of the clips and were identical to the seat cover that I removed. The quality looks great, it's leather just like the original, so I would say this is very close to an OEM replacement. I do need to replace the armrests as they are starting to crack, but are okay for now.

    Looks great but tough to install

    Went to my usual mechanic who does a wide range of service.. dropped my Tahoe off so they could replace my seat, thought it would be an easy process and also thought they probably wouldn’t charge me as it would only take 5 mins to install. They called me the next day saying they got the job done but it took them around 3 hours to do it (they are very honest with me and give me good deals) . It looks great but I paid my auto shop 80$ just to install it .

    Nice seat cover

    This seat cover was easy to install. You have to be willing to take things apart, and deal with situations that come up, such as what to do if the heated seat pad has a few burn marks in it? Better to have a new one on hand. The hardest part was inverting the front plastic hem to mate with the metal collar on the underside of the seat, and confirming it to those 90-degree bends. The new seat color is slightly brighter than the rest of the seat, so if you're super picky, replace all of the seat cover (the seat back and arm rest, too), and the top grain has more texture to it than the OEM seat cover, which has no texture, and is smooth. It's not super noticeable, unless you look at the seat close up, like when you're sitting in it. Also, the cover wasn't nearly as tight as all the videos ...
