The bond of the felt to the furniture is much better due to the factory bonding. Peel and stick are not up to the task of chair legs that are slid frequently; they tend to slip off. These are likely to endure and have been great thus far. While the chairs slide easily without a person sitting in them, they still vibrate with a person seated and sliding on the wooden floor, so friction persists despite the felt. Best product we have tried over the years but not perfect.

I bought these because the self adhesive sticky pads l had tried slide off eventually, and collect fuzz around the chair legs. I hoped these were more permanently adhered to the plastic holder that is nailed into the bottom of each leg, but these also use self adhesive to attach the felt piece to the plastic holder, plus there is a nail that potentially will protrude when the felt piece falls off. I have had several of the pads come loose before they were even nailed onto the chair leg. I also wish they were a big larger. I will try them and will try to superglue the pads onto the plastic piece that gets nailed into the leg, but hugely disappointing.

The nail on these felt floor protectors are not ready for prime time. Big time FAIL. The nail is thin and NOT strong. I tapped lightly and everyone of these pads I tried in a chair leg immediately was bent. None went in to the wood chair leg. The nail is so thin and so weak it's like the metal of the nail is aluminum. I am on the hunt for robust chair leg felt floor protector pads. These are not worth the price.

I had to reglue most of the felt pads to the tacks and I added glue to the plastic itself to keep the felt attached. Don't waist your money, just buy those that use double sided tape which I've used with no problem for years

worked well pre-drill necessary for hardwoods

When I got the item and start using it the felt started too fall off, when putting them on the glue they used was so little on them they wasn't holding on and the nail just push it right off. The company that makes them needs too stop making short cuts on there products and stand by what they make.
