This KMC chain comes without the package(bulk oem chain?), but appears to be a genuine KMC chain, at a good price. It was shipped out quickly, and is as described as far as I can tell. I didn't count the links, just sized it to my bike config, cleaned the greasy lube out, and applied a waxy lube. Seems good to go. Trail This: A+ seller.

8 Speed Chain Works in my 10 Speed Casetted
Wider between the outer plates than a 10 speed chain this 8 speed chain was just the solution to a slow shifting 10 speed cassette fitted to an old style seven speed Shimano free hub and derailleur. With 8 speed shifters and the largest (physically) tooth cog and a mid range cog deleted from the 10 speed cassette (to make my 8 speed bicycle fit the old, narrow, hub and frame of the original 7-speed bike), the shifts are now just snick, snick, snick! The front triple works now too! 11-34 by eight using 10 speed cogs in back and 28,38,48 seven speed triple chain rings up front are a delight to shift...I did add a vintage Shimano Shark Fin bought off eBay to prevent accidental chain suck with the front bail-out chain ring...Kept the old girl out of the land fill....Wider between the outer plates than a 10 speed chain this 8 speed chain was just the solution to a slow shifting 10 speed cassette fitted to an old style seven speed Shimano free hub and derailleur. Replaced my old bike chain
The new chain is the identical replacement for the old one. Me and my ghost (Wilber) are happy and he has stopped changing my TV channel to the cartoon network. I don't know what is with that except that I stopped buying beer since he would drink it all and not buy any to share. He's soo strange.

Replace Shimano Deore XL M550 7sp, 3 chainring
Needed to replace 29 yr old chain, Shimano Deore XL M550, MTB , 7sp, 3 chainring. This did the job, had to remove one link so the chain went on the smallest cassette gear, and smallest chainring, the chain would not be too loose. Hoping it lasts as long as the last one.
