This should not have been required.
It's a repair kit that should not have been needed as the ratchet was brand new but Wera refused to honour their product which is disappointing as the ratchet came in their most expensive 1/4" kit plus I have a lot of other items made by them. Oddly the last two ratchets of theirs have both had problems whereas the older ones have been faultless.
