Compares very well to Oakley lenses
The Galaxy Lenses fit my Oakley Flak 2.0 perfectly. They only difference I see between the two is the Oakley lenses appear to have a consistent color regardless of angle (as worn). The Galaxy lenses appear to be slightly darker as you rotate the frame to an angle (as if looking from the arm rather than straight through the lens). This isn't an issue when worn, since the angle will never be that extreme, but it is a difference between the Oakley lens and Galaxy Lens. Since these are replacing Oakley lenses, I'll compare specific to the colors I bought. I got a red and blue set with this order. The red lenses, as viewed, look like an orange/red tint very similar to Oakley's Fire Iridium. As worn they give a soft blue hue, somewhere between Positive Red (aka 00 Red) and Ruby Iridium. ... This is exactly what I wanted, as I'm a huge fan of +Red, and these lenses did not disappoint. The blue lenses, as viewed, are similar to Oakley's Ice Iridium. They are slightly lighter blue but that's the closest lens option I can think of. As worn they give a slight brown/yellow hue, something similar to Oakley's Violet Iridium lenses. I'm not a fan of this hue and was hoping they'd view more like the Ice Iridium lenses, since Galaxy also offers a violet lens, but no luck there. Not a quality issue, just an issue of trying a lens without reviews on them. At the price it was worth trying them. Overall I'm happy with the Galaxy lenses, and would buy them again if I need new lenses. The Galaxy lenses don't seem quite as reflective (as viewed) as the Oakley Iridium lenses, but they still look great. Galaxy lenses a fraction of the cost of the comparable polarized lenses offered by Oakley. Unless you have super sensitive eyes, I doubt you'll be able to tell the difference, and nobody who sees them in your Flak 2.0 frames will be able to tell they're not OEM.
