  • Inexpensive, But Clogs Easily

    Easy to install, provided you have the right connection size. I did not, but a couple of dollars at the hardware store was enough to buy the necessary adapters. It doesn't take much for the nozzles on the head to become clogged, causing the water to shoot out of two holes instead of ten. Rather than making it easy for the owner to clean it by having a twist- or snap-lock cap on the nozzles, there is a Phillips screw that has to be removed any time one wants to clean the holes out (a weekly necessity, so far). This wasn't terribly expensive, so I don't feel it was a huge loss. Still, I was hoping for easier maintenance. Some details about my set-up: I am running an 850gph pump with built-in UV light (and the pump is in a filter bag) in a pond containing about 500 gallons. The ...
