These larger SD card are becoming a thing of the past.
Lighted when plugged in, and responds to the computer with ease. The larger SD cards are becoming a thing of the past. If one has an older camera that accepts the larger SD cards, I would recommend to get a couple when they eventually become obsolete.

Nice little device
This card reader does exactly what it is supposed to do. My older MacBook Pro recognized it immediately and photo images were quick to load. The only potential "drawback," is if you have an external drive or other device plugged into (my only) adjacent USB port. The photo accompanying this review is from "the top," so you can see what direction the cards insert. Both slots are on the same side.

It's simple but works for me
What can I say? It simply works. Plug in either your SD or Micro-SD card (one at a time not both) and plug it into a USB port, either 2.0 or 3.0 and it reads and writes to the card. I use it mostly when I need to write to card for a Raspberry Pi board and it has never let me down. I haven't run speed tests to confirm actual speed but I suspect that also depends on the actual SD card one is using. I also like the white color as it makes it easier, for me, to find in all the clutter I accumulate. :) Registered device at the Transcend website easily enough but have never had to use their warranty on any other of their products I've owned.What can I say?
