I can only give feedback, based on my experience. I've had these cages for just under a month now. I ride through Winter. I'm using two, currently, on my road bike and one on my fat tire bike. They keep bottles held tightly. One kept my hot water thermos, securely, on a 25 degree/24 mile ride. They seem to be made of strong enough plastic. They affix to my frame with ease, and I'm able to put them in and pull them to me with ease.I can only give feedback, based on my experience. I've had these cages for just under a month now. Didn't hold my Zefal water bottles in. Not that secure.
Unfortunately, even with a Zefal-brand water bottle, using these holders were not secure. My water bottles shot out like a rocket with the slightest bump in the road. These will probably be fine for regular rides (cruising). For races, you get what you pay for, spring for a more expensive and secure water bottle holder.

This is the 2nd set I'm buying, for a new bike. Been using these for years; they have never failed me. It fits my various water bottles and travel mugs. It probably wouldn't work for the really thin Japanese thermos that's popular right now. And the plastic means it's not abrasive to whatever container you use.

Bought this last fall and never had any problem with it until this week. Lost 2 water bottles in 1 week. I ride singletrack almost exclusively with lots of jumps,drops and rough terrain. Maybe in those conditions they only last 8 months.
