The best way to puncture-proof you ties
The tires on my Mongoose mountain bike are thin cheap tires. Just about anything will puncture them. I even installed self-sealing inner tubes. After walking my bike home several times, I got smart and bought these tire liners. So far so good!

Mix feelings
I have had 2 flats in a week due to goat heads. The last flat, the goat head was offset of the center line of the tire, it should have been able to prevent the flat. I checked the position of the liner, it was at the top side center with the inner tube. The liner seems durable and well made with not sharp edges, I will keep using it and update the review if it merits. Mr Tuffy tire liners
The liners worked well on the streets till I hit a pot hole, tire pressure was to the max and I still got a snake bite puncture but after that they have been working without anymore flats.
