A nice locomotive, but with issues.
It's a nice looking diesel, only if you can get it cheaply. Not worth paying up for it. The engine is very noisy, so much so that after running it for just a couple of minutes, shutting it off is a welcome relief unless you are wearing a set of ear plugs! Also, fwd./reverse only works when you manually switch the lever on top of the train. I completely cleaned, oiled & greased motor & gears when I got it, but it has had no effect on reducing the noise.
