I had the travel size & lost it in a move. I have been looking for this game for years and finally found it. The bigger board is easier to play on a table. The rules are straightforward. The challenge is in the way the maze keeps changing and muli-turn strategies are mostly thwarted. You have to predict the many ways the pother person could mess up your plan and have contingency options. If neither of you are into strategy you can just play with the board options at your turn. Sometimes you can help yourself & thwart your opponent or you can help yourself and your opponent or you can only thwart your opponent. I have only played with adults but older children can play too. The board does not come apart so you can't lose part of it. Only 8 removeable parts - the "men".
