The charger comes in a blue color and is specifically designed for use with Makita power tools. The manufacturer warranty is not applicable. One battery, not sure if it hold charge as is.

Replacement charger for 9.6V Porter Cable
Very good, reliable charger. Works very well to charge 9.6V Porter Cable slide-in batteries if you are capable of making major conversion modifications or adapter. Making adapter to connect the Makita to the Porter cable case is the easy way and works but looks a bit odd having two chargers side by side and you can then still use it for Makita batteries You will no longer have auto shut -off when charging PC batteries and will need a timer or watch that the battery does not charge too long and over heat but you will have a more reliable charger than the Porter Cable..The voltage and the output of the two chargers is just about the same.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Charger almost started a fire
