Better for you then an RX
I use to take Ambien which is a prescription drug. Now by using the Melatonin I no longer use the Ambien! I have found out if you take it right before or right after you eat it takes longer to kick in. It puts you in a real pleasant relaxed mode to where you can fall asleep very easily.
