Hillibilly Honky Tonk is where it's at. This CD is for all you Hank lovers who come out to celebrate his birthday with us every year. His influence on musical history cannot be denied. He wrote an incredible number of brilliant and 'classic' songs in his short lifetime that are always fun to share in a crowd. This is a compilation of all the Hank material from our three recordings, with a few previously unreleased nuggets from those sessions. We also recorded five extras with my nephew Jackson playing bass on four of them. The guitar I'm playing is a Slingerland May Bell that is old enough to have been around during Hank's lifetime. I'm happy to capture her unique sound on a recording. She's got character. Jody.
