    makes fencing repairs easy

    these wire tightners work great. easy to tighten your barbed wire and will take the slack out of long distances of fence. takes a little time to get the hang of using but works well. be careful of using on rusty old wire as you can over tension and break the wire. i have just about tighten all my fences on my ranch

    Wire tighteners

    Work great for taking up slack in all kinds of wire fencing. The 1/4" tighteners can be collapsed when strained badly but can be retightened sometimes. Great gadget for fencing. Also can be used with fencing pliers as well as the tool made for the tighteners to spin tighten them tight.

    Quick, easy and effective.

    These make it quick and easy to tighten those annoying sagging fence wires. No need to remove staples and clips back to a corner post or brace to take up the slack, or cut and join the ends, simply take up the slack where the sag is. I've used several dozen of these, mostly in old wire, some very old, and haven't had any break. If any did break, it wouldn't be because the clip is prone to causing such a problem. Wire in that fragile should probably be replaced. Where I have spliced breaks or put up short segments of new fence, I'll use these to tighten the new wire. No need for a larger tool kit, so its saves a lot of space and awkward packing of larger tools..

    Jake-not-to-tight

    This is a good fence tighter , however caution is best to be seriously heeded, when using these Jake's wire tighteners . If the wire is tightened over and above the wire- gauge's breaking point, there is a strong possibility of the wire,( especially barbed- wire ) which could break, and/ recoil, or snap back into your body. There is a small warning or notation to this caution on the packages.
