Good for Private TV Listening
We have a house full of kids and grand children, SO sometimes it is very difficult to hear television broadcasts. I purchased the Unisar J3 so I could once again take control of my television listening. The setup couldn't be any easier, as you simply plug the unit into your streaming source and apply power. Once the headphones are charged, you simply turn them on and begin listening to your broadcast. I love my new headphones and would have given a full 5 stars, IF they weren't so touchy about line-of-sight communication! Simple motions, such as taking a drink or scratching your nose is enough to disrupt the communication and receive static. Not as easy and pleasant to use as the older model
The sound quality is not as good nor is it as comfortable and easy to use as the older model. We had been using the older model Unisar Easy Listener and loved it. One of them wore out after much use and we replaced it with this one. Too bad they tried to improve on what was already the best! I would not purchase this model again. Great product!
Bought this headset and transmitter to listen to TV as my wife sleeps (she works at night). Very good sound quality. Might make one complaint--the instructions were for hooking it up to the TV itself, but if you have cable, the transmitter must be hooked up to the cable box. Instructions were not clear on this. Definitely worth the price 👌
I've used one of these for 8 years now. Bought it to watch TV in bed at night while my wife sleeps. The only negative that I have is the batteries 🔋 run out of power without warning usually lasting 3 to 4 hours. Work well
The older version TV Listener 777 powered by batteries was better. These phones are very well built but heavy and they clamp strongly on your head with cushioned pads. The sound is good but not as crisp as previous units. Rechargeable feature is a big convenience though. The transmitter works okay but again, it is not quite as effective as the older tall model. All told they still beat competitive phones for quality and price. They are infrared operated so you can't walk out of range of the transmitter, like to another room but they project pretty far and wide from the beam.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works for Us
We've used the Unisar 920 TV Listener for perhaps 4 years to watch TV. We are 69 and 73 years old. The sound system even on our new TV is not good. Didn't want to add a sound bar and started looking for an affordable head set. Many were too expensive for what we needed...reasonably good, amplified sound at an affordable price. Yes, we have purchased a replacement headset but the transmitter has held up very well. I suppose if you replaced many head sets, the cost would equal a more costly, superior system. Very Poor Reception
Reception is very limited and not consistent. Directly in front of the TV and within 15 ft it does work for most channels, but not all. One TV channel is very faint and only picks up in one ear. This Unisar unit replaced another Unisar unit I'd had for several years, which worked much better. The transmission system on the newer unit is a different type and is inferior to the previous unit.
