Works on Onan B43E engine.
As the title implies, I used it for an Onan B43E in a John Deere 316. Works fine, using Accel superstock DIY plug wires. Just bent 1 of the tabs toward the middle to make contact with the central conductor that this coil has. MAKE SURE YOU REALIZE that this coil has a central spike conductor, the inside wall of the coil terminal is NOT a conductor. Much cheaper than the OEM version. Fit right into the holder on the Onan, assuming you have the cylinder coil retrofit already installed and not the old square bolt on coil. My problem actually wasn't the coil, but I am keeping this as a spare coil on hand for the tractor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Received 1 day after ordering. Packed well. Looks good. Came with a bracket that was easy to modify for the application I am using it on. On seat post of 1937 frame with flathead lower end and KHK top end. Haven't fired it up yet so I guess I'll find out soon how it performs.
