    Unleashed bass tone and sustain

    My newly acquired bass didn't have the clarity of tone and sustain I thought it should have. I replaced the strings, which provided no discernible improvememt. I then thought that, perhaps, I needed a bridge with more mass, so I did some homework on various replacement bridges and chose this Hipshot one. It took about 3 minutes to install and - WOW! - what a difference. The term 'SuperTone' in the name is definitely not just marketing hype; my bass turned into a super-tone instrument with plenty of sustain. Also, and this is probably just coincidence, the intonation and string height were perfect right out of the box - no saddle adjustments needed. However if, in the future, adjustment is necessary, the screws are easily accessed from the rear of the bridge, instead fumbling under the ...

    Beautiful high-mass bridge by Hipshot

    We have not installed the SuperTone 3-Point bridge yet so do not know how it will affect the tone, but we think it will be great. The bridge is high-mass and high quality. Hipshot is a super company for this and other gear (like tuners) and it's always best to have the best, whether as a replacement or for a new bass. Our use for this bridge is for a new bass build, which should be complete by the end of this month, May 2023.

    Great Gibson replacement bridge

    Great replacement for stock style Gibson bass bridge. Much easier to set string height, and intonation. Has the ability to set string spacing. Very easy swap. Replaced a Gibson style bridge on a 70's made in Japan bass guitar.

    If you have an Epi or a Gibson bass, just get this bridge. It makes everything adjustable. Looks great and includes bolts for both American Gibson's and Asian Epiphones. I have them on my Epi Classic Thunderbird and Epi long scale EB-3 basses. Makes everything better.

    Well made with nice features.

    This new bridge made my old 1965 Gibson EBO bass come alive with a new sound. You now can adjust the strings and intonation with no problems. Great way to solve an old problem with the old bridges that are not movable. Thanks Don Knight
