An ambitious series that bears a striking resemblance to LAIN, BOOGIEPOP PHANTOM is no less fascinating, and certainly, in many ways, takes that series' concept to another level. Taking place in a bizarre alternate universe, Boogiepop is a shady organization that protects the world from supernatural menace that materializes in the form of a young girl clad in a yin-yang cloak. The series begins with the disappearance of some high school students, the discovery of a young man who sees people's regrets as spiders and can eat them, and the appearance of a detective who tries to tie the strands of these mysteries together. Contains the entire series in a collector's box.

    Hard to Find DVDs Arrived in Excellent Condition

    The Product: Arrived as advertised. DVDs themselves are in excellent condition. Slight wear and tear on DVD spines, but honestly not even an issue being that these are nearly 20 years old. Contents: A classic anime in its first form (DVDs). It's so strange and intriguing. Super binge-able. The characters are very real and aren't fancified as many anime characters can be (sans the Phantom, but even then she isn't so in-your-face). If you like psychological and dark themes you are in for a treat.
