    Nice training tool

    Not sure on long term, but definitely a nice tool to aide in obedience training, it has 2 tones, A-for good behavior, B- for bad behavior..... The dog can associate good tone with praise and treats, but B Tone, if not listening knows a shock can follow.... my kids have a small eating table they sit at while watching cartoons, our puppy loves to beg, and steal food, but this trainer has helped curve those behaviors... its a work in progress, but thats one example of corrective training.

    Works, but better for smaller, thin coat breeds.

    This collar did not work that well for my needs, however a dog owner w a different breed, say a small or med dog w a short coat, probably be perfect. I have 2 100lb German shepherds w winter coats still shedding. Not easy for diodes to connect. Once connected, it works. Also takes time and effort training no matter what.

    Not for us.

    Depends on your dog. 9 month old Lab - super high energy - hit her full blast, took her in the air about 6 inches and slowed her down for 30 seconds...this girl is smart and stubborn! Obviously I don't use it as it is not a deterrent for her.

    Great value

    Training my pup has never been easier. I use the "tone" only. There are two levels of the tone.. I use one to train and the other to stop negative behavior. I've never touched the "stimulation" buttons.. I've never had to. I do recommend this product. 😊
