    Quirky British doctor sets up practice in an eccentric seaside town full of memorable characters.

    Great characters, wonderful scripts, very entertaining in a slow-paced, very picturesque environment. The backdrop of the hilly town on the sea, with old stone houses and seaside cliffs, add to the pleasure of the experience. If you liked Northern Exposure you will love this. Enjoy!

    Movie was different

    Loved them all. The movie was not as I expected. It was still Doc Martin, but not the same story line and characters. Still would have bought it though as part of a pacakage out of curiosity. Can't remember if it was the first movie or the second movie that should have been rated as X because of a sex xcene which did not need to be totally explicit. Glad they changed his story line for the series. It is a much better story line.

    Leave it to the Brits to come up with quality productions, great cast, non-vulgar script, not trivializing women, providing super 'escapism' settings, and fine acting. The productions really do become addictive as the label says. HR

    The very best of a BBC series!

    Simply one of the best series I've ever seen!,and of course it's put out by the BBC.It's seriously funny,and everyone of the actors is fantastic!,usually in a successful series there's just a couple of good actors,and everyone else makes guest appearances.Amazon is still charging to watch it on Prime,even though it's been around for many years,because it's so wildly popular! You won't be dissapointed if you buy this,and I rarely get committed to a series!
