Oscar Schmidt oe30 delta king
This particular guitar was purchased used and is from 2010 when they were still made in Indonesia. The double washburn humbuckers are excellent and the guitar has a great tone and awesome sustain. It can be played quietly without amplification or quite raucously when plugged into my Fender amp. I've seen the Chinese version and am not to impressed. Overall this guitar is now my favorite after new strings. The Grover tuners are tight and hold tuning very well. The finish is excellent and easy to clean. I'm impressed with the construction using mahogany for the body and a maple neck with rosewood feet board. this guitar, while inexpensive, is very well made & just a lot of fun to play!! Only drawback is that the strings are cheap, but I ordered some decent ones to replace them, so no big deal here. Personally, i think this is one investment that I chose wisely. It's design feels pretty comfortable to play, and I am going to use it to play the blues, because I envision it sounding deep and tonal with the blues strings that are heading my way!! Even with the cheap strings it's not bad sounding, just tinny, which is noot my preference. Very happy with this purchase!!! When I first received it, it was sure Pretty in the box. Once I got it out of the wrapper it was even prettier. I gave it a strum and of course it was a bit loose so I tuned 'er up. Still, yuck!!
