2016 release from Welsh alternative rock group The Joy Formidable. Hitch is self-produced by the band, and mixed by the legendary Alan Moulder. The release showcases the evolution of the trio's sound and musicianship. The commanding guitar and lead vocals of Ritzy Bryan coupled with bassist Rhydian Davies and the stalwart styling's of drummer Matt Thomas perfectly align on the band s greatest endeavor. Childhood friends Ritzy and bassist Rhydian originally played together as part of Manchester band Tricky Nixon, which later reformed into Sidecar Kisses. After Sidecar Kisses split up in 2007, they regrouped, returning to their Welsh home town of Mold, and formed The Joy Formidable
