    This kit got rid of my squeaking dryer

    If your GE dryer is making a crazy squeaking noise and you Googled how to fix it, this should be the kit you need. I am not all that handy and it took me about 15 minutes to replace. The squeaking noise is gone for a $26 kit instead of buying a brand new dryer. Make sure you look up your dryer model and the replacement kit you need though!

    A fairly easy fix for the mechanically inclined.

    The main frame is injection molded plastic and had a few spots of overcast that needed to be trimmed away to install the bearing slides and the frame into the dryer mounting tabs.

    High quality replacement parts.

    Fit up well, no issues. Be sure to fit the upper bearing part first, then the lower. Align carefully and firmly press into position.

    Fit well and stopped the sqeak

    There were no directions telling which slider went where. Old part that was to be replaced was so damaged I could not use as a guide for position. All else worked well.
