    Dell R430 for home lab VMware Cloud Foundation - Awesome

    The Dell R430 is great server for ESXi 7.0. Still fully supported by VMware. Using it in my lab with VLC to setup a completely virtual VMware Cloud Foundation configuration. This server has the necessary 128GB of RAM and more than the need 12 cores. This server has 16 total cores. I could upgrade to more cores cheaply with Xeon processor upgrades if i wanted to and the RAM can be expanded to 384GB. Very happy with this purchase. I added a 2TB NVMe SSD and a PCIe NVMe expansion card for storage and a 120GB SSD for the OS boot drive. Always do your research to get exactly what you need.
