Works well but weak radio makes for possible additional cost of booster.
The remote module installs just like any other fan controller. The only real issue with the device is the limited range of the z-wave radio on the device. Unless you have another mesh device in the room or an extender it will likely not pair to your automation network. Almost but not
I purchased 2 of the remotes. Connecting was simple. Programming for one of the remotes went well, the second remote I still haven't been able to connect to WIFI. All controls work on both controls, other than the WIFI connection on one of these.
