The Z981 is very speedy, allowing users to switch from extreme wide-angle to extreme telephoto lens options in less than two seconds. Photographers taking micro-shots find two different modes. One mode allows the photographer to shoot objects with this Kodak camera as close as 3.9 inches while the other Kodak option allows them to get up to .4 inch from their subject. Kodak Z981 cameras offer a 3-inch LCD screen along with an electronic viewfinder. Photographers also have the option of setting this Kodak to take nine pictures in eight seconds. Attaching a grip to the bottom of Kodak Z981 cameras allow photographers to take vertical pictures more easily. Furthermore, the Z981 offers photographers the option to push a button on the top of the Kodak and use a secondary shutter release on the lower front edge of the digital EasyShare camera, allowing them to capture a better portrait image.     I have used many cameras, but this one has features I have never seen in any camera. The camera has a menu for each type of photo-taking, and lacks nothing I would want in a camera. I really enjoy using it.

    Got a good deal on this

    We needed a new one at work as the old one wouldn't hold a charge, though that could have been the old rechargeable batteries. And the back to the battery compartment was not attached. So I bought this as a replacement, it's the exact same.

    Best camera for the money

    This is my second one, and I couldn’t be without it. I wore my on off switch out after 15 years worth of great pictures. This camera can be setup from total point and shoot to everything is manual. Great pictures with great clarity at any size blow ups.

    Good Camera for the money

    Very good camera for the money. It is not a small camera but fits very well in a Man's hand..thats why I like it. The grip is rubberized which helps to prevent a person dropping it by accident. Again the weight and size are great for me. I intend to use this in my job as a real estate appraiser. Picture quality is better than needed for my use. Field of view is very good for taking pictures indoors of all room sizes.

    Great Kodak camera

    I bought this camera new 12 yrs. ago. I accidently dropped it and can't find a repair shop to fix it. This camera has always been a favorite of mine. The features are great for a novice photographer. It has many features that a more advanced camera can deliver. I was so happy to find the same product on Ebay. It is like having my "friend" back.
