Good Product Overall
As with all GPS units, there will always be glitches. The first time that I used it, it sent me west instead of east to get back to Atlanta, and showed an odd shaped entrance ramp to justify it. It was wrong! This will not happen very often, but just be aware that all GPS units do things like this from time to time. The voice guidance is clear and plain, was worth the cost (has $89 European maps package included), and you will not have to read the manual to use it. I already have my German vacation locations stored in it, and I'm ready to go, and will not have to read a map.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

garmin GPS
just received my garmin 2559lmt gps--generally satisfied with this product--if you know gps somewhat you can navigate this generally ok but the website is available to answer specific questions on more difficult functions you may want to use. I had a tom tom go 920 that was generally better--more user friendly and easier to use overall and would prefer it over the garmin but they do not come with the free map updates I don't think and I am not familiar with the newer tomtom units hence I tried the garmin--the 920 is now a ten year old product--overall I prefer the 920 but garmin will work ok for me--portuitaliaVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Easy to Operate with nice Large View Screen
No different to operate than any of the older Nuvi models. Love the nice big screen and don't mind the window extra real estate the screen blocks, as it is hardly noticeable. You can always lower the device off the window to an air vent hookup. Only wish this model came with the Euro-maps too, as I was replacing an older unit that came with both US and Euro maps. More than expected
I value a GPS that actually doesn’t use any data and can offer you some kind of traffic information. But most importantly what I was not aware of and I’m glad is the Smart Link application that uses your cell phone’s weather and traffic information to work along to feed your GPS. It is a nice addition if you plan on using some data. It is certainly not ideal if you travel abroad to be using your data I suggest using a data plan for traveling.
