    Not My First Choice

    I'd had a lifeproof case on my old iPhone 4S and I'd recently purchased another lifeproof case for the iPhone 5S that I inherited from my wife. I'd hoped to find a genuine lifeproof belt clip but the only compatible one I found for the 5S case was the Encased belt clip. Needing a belt clip, I ordered the Encased item. It fits the case securely but it does not have the sliiding locking mechanism that the lifeproof clip has. (On the other hand, that sliding switch was the first thing to break on the lifeproof belt clip for my 4S.). For the price, the Encased clip does the job but I have not had the item long enough to comment on its durability.

    So far, So good..

    This seems to be as durable as the "proof" brand belt clip. It is definitely more comfortable to wear and seems to adjust very well getting in and out of the car. Time will tell if the ratchet will still function over it's lifetime.

    Does the job.

    Don't waste your money on a cheap knock off. This is the real deal lifeproof clip. It offers great protection and a good, strong clip. The only beef l have, and its minor is that the phone release takes some effort, but overall, this is a great product.

    LifeProof Belt Clip Holder

    This cell pholder is ingenious...it allows easy access & removal of your phone from the belt position. so you don't miss that important phone call. Suggestion - The manufacturer should provide a additional plastic "button" with the new holder so the owner has the option of installing the second clip at a later time.

    Pretty Good Clips, but wears out after about 1 year

    That's how long the last one lasted with limited daily use. It's a good clip, just wish it held up longer.
