The whole reason I bought this was because the original one is to thin and parts always hang up on the lip between the plate and the table The new does the same thing just not as bad. If they could make it thicker and we could sand the top down for a perfect fit that would be nice.

These deflectors were put on Porter Cable guns. The BN200A 18GA Brad Nailer and the NS100A 1/4" Narrow Crown Stapler. Both went on really easy. Just lined them up and press down. Piece of cake. Saved me from buying the whole top head with the deflector.
