Necessary Addition for Surface 4
I originally had a Surface 3 and found within moments of starting to use it that a real keyboard is indispensable if you want to use it like a real computer. The Surface 4 is the same. For both, the on-screen keyboard covers way too much of the screen, covering up where you may need to type! Also, switching between alpha, numeric, and symbols is a royal pain. If you have a Surface, you NEED a keyboard. (I also recommend a bluetooth mouse - to save the USB port. I like the Microsoft 3600.) The Surface 3 keyboard works fine with a Surface 4, but the form factor for the 4 is a bit different. Since I have both units, I figured that two keyboards was also a good idea. I think Microsoft has us over a barrel, though, on the price. I do not see why this costs so much. I was reluctant to try an off-brand, though, so I sucked it up and got a refurbished unit, which looks as good-as-new. The quality and feel is very good - maybe that justifies the price. At least once, my Surface 4 seemed to "forget" that it had the keyboard attached. Removing it and re-connecting it solved that.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

minor damage and delay in delivery
