    DIY Acid Peel

    This is the best way to shrink pores and smooth uneven skin. And it won't take very long to see results! The acid doesn't work by simply melting your skin off, but it breaks the bonds that connect the top, dead layer of skin to the new skin below. With some of that layer gone, moisturizers and wrinkle creams work better. I've used this stuff for years, and it has never failed. You'll want to not press down hard or stay in one area longer than the rest of your face. I use it 3 times a week and then skip a week. You shouldn't use rough exfoliants like St Ives Apricot Scrub while you use this, because the scrub can cause lots of tiny lacerations, and the acid will burn. Same for men who shave - be careful not to nick or cut yourself. Follow the instructions and make sure your face is dry ...

    Clinical peel

    Avon’s peels are the very best, and I’ve tried numerous brands. It works much better than expensive peels(higher cost does not always = higher quality). For me, there was a lot of skin purging for 3 weeks. Wait patiently, since the purging is necessary for the product to work. By the 4th week, my skin was completely purged, and totally renewed. The fine lines around my eyes are gone, and the deeper lines have lessened. I’ve received many compliments on the brightness of my complexion. I’m a big fan of this product.

    Easy-peasy "peel" action

    I like it very much. For me, the wow-factor are the pads - just unscrew the top & you have very affordable "mini-facial" ready to use so I use more frequently than more complex products. My skin isn't very sensitive, I only get a slight tingle from the acid. Thinking they a great intro glycolic for any skin type. Lazy me, I keep them on my nightstand & they function as my only pre-sleep cleanse some nights.

    Good results so far!

    Just started using every couple days as instructed, but it does feel amazingly active on my face and after only a couple times I can notice some laugh lines minimized and more resilience in skin. I've had various dermatological treatments over the years and they've felt like this so I think it's going to be a thumbs up! Exfoliation is what renews skin - and the ingredients used are known for doing that.

    Excellent Product But Not for Sensitive Skin

    I had never used the extra strength formula, and my honest opinion is that it is definitely not for sensitive skin. My skin had no problem with Avon's regular strength retexturizing peel, but since I'd had a recent experience receiving a jar that was dried out from a different Seller, I decided to give the extra strength a try because the price was unbeatable. This product definitely contributes to smoother skin, but it CAN burn if too much pressure is used when applying. Also, the pads are very saturated, so I would suggest squeezing the excess back into the jar before using for the first time. Good product, but my skin prefers the regular formula.
